The Long, Overdue Awards Post

Hi everyone, how are you? Today, I’ve decided to catch up on some Awards I’ve been given. Those are long, long overdue, and for that I’m sorry. For some reason, I’ve decided to do them all at once, and I really don’t know why, because I clearly suck at making up facts about myself. So, this might be fun?!

I was nominated by the wonderful Alicia @ Caffeine and books for The Beautiful Blogger Award and by Jane @ Greenish Bookshelf for the One Lovely Blog Award. Thank you so much!

🌸 The beautiful blogger award
7 facts about myself

1. I look up flights and hotel rooms because it relaxes me and makes me think about my next getaway. Which is really NEEDED these days.
2. This is my last year of university: I’m FREE –and officially stressed out- starting July.
3. I’m studying 500 miles away from home, and I don’t like it.
4. My sister is my best friend in the entire world
5. I went to the USA alone with my sister at 19 years-old, and it will forever be the craziest/most amazing thing I’ve done in my life (yet)
6. Once, I wrote an entire novel in a month. And now I’m crying because I don’t have time to revise it.
7. I love minions and own too many things for my own good.

🌸 One lovely blog award
7 facts about myself…again?!

1.  I got my driving licence, but I really, really don’t like driving.
2.  I read almost all of the Goosebumps books, and I loved them so much. I want to re-read them!
3.  My phone case is a John Green one, TFIOS to be precise. I love to torture myself.
4. I’m one of those annoying people taking pictures of their food at the restaurant. Sorry about that.
5. I interned as a journalist for six months last year, and seeing my name in the paper is as accomplished as I’ll ever feel as a writer, haha.
6. I would love to be one of those strong people, but I’m too emotional for that.
7. I hate talking about myself, so…that’s my last fact haha!

Okay, after writing this, I have one question: why 7?! I think we should debate on that for a while.

And, while we’re there…I shouldn’t be the only one doing this! If you’ve read all of these boring facts, well…share something about yourself in comments! 💬

  1. This was fun to read! You’ve written a novel in a month?! You’ve written for a paper? Yay for stress freeness after July! That’s when my stress will begin because it’ll be my last year of schooling 😮
And seven seems like a favourite for these Award posts, I never noticed until you pointed it out haha 😉

    1. Aww thank you, I’m glad you liked it 🙂 I did, thanks to the craziness of NaNoWriMo! And I loved it so much, but I don’t have the time now to revise it :(. And I did write in a local newspaper, a magazine and some guides about studies, in my last internship 🙂
Ohhh, that’s scary, but I’m sure it will be okay! I’m here to support you in this last year 😀
It certainly seems like it, haha! 🙂 Thank you so much for commenting!! ❤

  2. They aren’t boring! I didn’t know you studied so far from home. I get that it’s hard. I found that. But now I’m living back at home while I’m broke I miss where I was living when I was away! Life is silly.

I should have had plenty of time to edit my novel, but I haven’t. Now I am trying to get something else together for a short story competition. Oh dear… we’ll get to it eventually?

  3. Oh my gosh I’m so jealous that you wrote a book in a month! I always have tons of ideas to write a book but I always end up abandoning them… 😦 Congrats on that! At least now you don’t have to worry about having an incomplete story, right? 🙂 Hope you get the chance to revise it soon though! ❤
    Lovely post!

  4. Aww, thanks so much for opening up and sharing some personal facts about you, Marie! I loved learning more about you. I’m an only child but having a sister sounds like a nice thing.^.^ AND OH MY GOODNESS, I love the minions! :3 …but I still have seen the Minions movie yet. It’s on my bucket list the next time I’m on break though. (I must watch it on spring break, for sure!)

      1. It makes me really, really anxious… We have those check ups with drivers ed teachers in the year after we get the license and I just had my final appointment like 2 weeks ago. He said I shouldn’t change anything about my driving, which calmed me a little bit, but I still haven’t driven a car since hahaha

  5. I JUST got my learners and it’s so scary. In my opinion, anyone who barely knows left and right and periodically walks into walls should not be allowed to drive a car, but apparently I’m wrong. 7 is a magic number, obviously. I have an amazing twin sister who is probably my best friend too. ❤

    1. Haha, oh I’m sure you’re an awesome driver! And well, tell yourself that you’re not the only one thinking twice before turning left, or right… I get it wrong too many times for a 22 years-old haha.
Ohhh that’s so great! Sisters are the best, and it’s the best feeling when you’re very close! ❤ ❤

  6. haha great facts- including the one where you said you hate talking about yourself :p that’s cool about interning as a journalist- any plans for pursuing it further? what kind of journalism was it? PS I read all the goosebumps too!

    1. Thank you so much! 🙂 I’m trying to pursue my dreams of working close to books, but why not combine that with journalism, that could be nice! 🙂 It actually was a magazine/website and guide publisher specialized in students, high school and university news 🙂
The Goosebumps series was great, I loved it! I’m excited to see the movie 😀

      1. wow that would be really cool- you could become a professional reviewer or something? That’s really cool- I’ve seen magazines like that and they’re really interesting 🙂
They really were- I’m planning to watch that too- I like how it pays homage to the books without being the exact same thing 😀
