The Bedtime Book Tag

Hi guys, how are you doing today? I can’t believe September is already here! It makes me so sad, I swear. Anyways, I know today is Top Ten Tuesday day, however, I didn’t feel so inspired by the theme, so I decided to do a book tag instead. I hope you’ll enjoy it! πŸ™‚

Many thanks to Erika @ Erika in BookventurelandΒ for tagging me! Check out her blog if you have some time, it’s pretty amazing, and she’s a sweetheart. Let’s get started with the questions!

What book kept you up all night reading?

redqueenFor this one, I’m going to say Red Queen, probably because I remember reading it in bed and not wanting to stop.

What book made you scared to go to sleep?the 5th wave

Out of all the books I’ve read, I think that The 5th Wave is the one that really made me kind of anxious. I mean, this plot is pretty chilling, and honestly, just closing my eyes and thinking about it makes me feel unease.

anatomy of a misfitWhat book almost put you to sleep?

I didn’t really know what to pick for this question, so I guess I’d say Anatomy of a Misfit. It wasn’t a bad book, at all, I just didn’t click with the main character, so I wasn’t really into the story.

What book has you tossing and turning in anticipation of its release?vanishing girls

Vanishing Girls is the first that comes to mind. I absolutely love all of Lauren Oliver’s books, and from reading the synopsis, I just couldn’t wait to hold it in my hands. I mean, sisters, disappearance, and, damn, it’s everything I love in a story.

mara dyer 1What book has your dream boy/girlfriend?

The Mara Dyer series. Noah Shaw, if you hear me, I love you!

What book world would be your worse nightmare to live in?Β the hunger games

Any dystopian book, would be the right answer, because damn… some authors really can give us chills, just with words, and have the talent to make us believe such a world is right behind our doors. Maybe I’d go with The Hunger Games.

the heirWhat book has a nightmarish cliffhanger?

Erika, I might copy you on that one, because I couldn’t think of anything else. The Heir really has a nightmarish cliffhanger…I mean, how can Kiera Cass end her book like that, I need to know what happens!

What book cover reminds you of nighttime?Β one night that changes

Hm, One night that changes everything ? Right from the title, you know it’s going to be nighttime, haha! πŸ™‚

What book have you actually dreamed about?

It’s funny, I thought about this question for the last ten minutes, and couldn’t come up with any book…I guess I’m not dreaming about books when I’m sleeping…more like daydreaming all day about it!

programWhat book monster would you not want to find under your bed?

It’s not a monster, well, not strictly speaking, but…I’d say someone who wants to get rid of all my feelings, just like in The Program. That really would be the worst!

And…that’s it for this tag! Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoyed reading my answers guys! πŸ™‚ What about you? What book kept you up all night, and what book put you to sleep? Let me know in comments! πŸ™‚

Oh my goodness The Heir! Honestly when I finished reading the last page I was like “That’s it?! You’re going to leave me hanging?! While I totally didn’t like Eadlyn that much I need the next book now! HAHA

I’m still not over that cliffhanger ending, to be honest.I feel the same way, haha, Eadlyn wasn’t my favorite, but damn, I NEED to read what happens next right now, haha! πŸ˜€

  2. I definitely found The Fifth Wave, especially the beginning parts of it, disturbing enough to make me want to avoid sleep. The alien had some ingenious plans for the annihilation of the human race. Also so happy to see that you enjoyed Red Queen πŸ˜€

    1. They really did! I think it’s their whole plan, all the different waves, strategies, and the very idea of all that happening, that kind of kept me awake. So weird and chilling!
I really did, I can’t wait to read the sequel! πŸ˜€
